Pre-production documents — version control
After manually uploading your untemplated pre-production document, you can replace this document as many times as you like. The VMS will keep an archive of every version that you have uploaded. You can restore the document to any of those previous versions.
How do you do this?
Select “Previous versions” from your Pre-Production job. A list of all archived versions will present itself.
You can “view” each of those versions, and you can “restore” one, should you wish.

Upload your own pre-production documents
You can now choose to upload your own pre-production documents to the VMS project, rather than using the default Google templates provided (or managing your documents offline on your local computer).
Any document that you upload will override the default template within that Pre-Production job.This supports:
When the client supplies their own documentation and you want it on the shared record.
When your project requires your own custom approach to a document
How do you do this?
Select “Upload” from your pre-production job
